CRUISES

Ships stay. Every sailing keeps its own story.

Explore the ship itself, then see exactly how our family’s experience changed from one voyage to the next.

Consistent questions. Separate experiences.

Every voyage keeps its own scores so a newer sailing never overwrites an older one.

Cruise lines & ships

Celebrity has become one of our favorite cruise lines for a more relaxed family vacation. We especially love the food, the calmer atmosphere, and the feeling that the ship itself is a place to slow down rather than constantly chase activities. It is not always the best fit for us when it comes to entertainment, but when we want great meals, good service, and an easy week at sea, Celebrity is hard for us to beat.

CRUISE LINE

Norwegian

Norwegian has played a huge part in our family's cruising story. It was the cruise line that introduced us to cruising, and years later, the Norwegian Epic brought us back after seven years away. We've always appreciated NCL's relaxed atmosphere, interesting itineraries, and overall value. It may not always be the fanciest option, but Norwegian feels comfortable to us—and it's the cruise line we keep coming back to.

Our history with Royal Caribbean is complicated. We've sailed with them twice, and while both cruises gave us some great family memories, both also came with experiences we'd rather forget. Still, we're not ready to write Royal off. We haven't experienced one of their newer mega-ships yet, and that's something we'd really like to try. Two cruises haven't been enough for us to decide where Royal Caribbean fits for our family.
