We visited Puerto Plata on our April 2026 cruise aboard Norwegian Joy. Our photographs capture time at the port and in the water during a week that included both memorable excursions and a few hard-earned travel lessons. The Dominican Republic was one stop in a Caribbean journey that gave us plenty to talk about afterward.
